The 10th Annual Hatchet Classic Tournament!

For a decade The Hatchet Classic Tournament has embodied what it means to #bepositvelydifferent. The tournament takes place annually during the second weekend of February and has continued to evolve and grow with each passing year. This year resulted in our biggest year to date!

The 10th annual Tournament took place a few weekends ago in Washington, IN, in what has become a can’t miss event in the southern Indiana area. We had 58 teams (most ever) including for the first time a 2nd grade bracket. Even with the continued growth of the event, we believe we’ve just begun to scratch the surface. When your staff shares the same vision and commitment to make every year better than the last, improvement comes easy.  

The weekend was a big success, everything went smooth which made for a great atmosphere to play basketball. Everyone involved seemed to have enjoyed themselves, here’s a few quotes from the coaches:                                      

-       “Very fun and kids enjoyed it!” – 7th grade coach

-       “Awesome tournament” – 6th grade coach

The weekend concluded with 7 champions being crowned. The teams and their respective age groups are listed below:
