DistinXion AAU offers intensive training camps coached by former NBA player and DistinXion president, Luke Zeller. We’re about more than just basketball. Our faith-based training and character development seek to grow players into the best scholars, athletes and leaders they can be.

What to Expect

The DistinXion program is designed to be a college athletics preparation program. For those looking to play college basketball, this will be excellent. For those looking to maximize their high school careers and then go to college as a student this program will teach you skills beyond basketball. We want 100% of our program participants to be successful.

Success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to do your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming.
— John Wooden

This could be different for each player. For many it could mean college and college athletics, and for others it may mean trade school or military service. We want to help navigate and coach you to your next steps through the DistinXion program.

Training Camps

Under pressure, you don’t rise to the occasion, you sink to the level of your training. That’s why we train so hard.
— United States Navy SEALs

DistinXion doesn’t just practice. We have training camps. These are immersive basketball workouts that will be two sessions- a morning session and afternoon session on Saturdays. The location is TBD, but most likely around the Bloomington area. These will challenge and encourage the players in the DistinXion program in their character, leadership, and basketball skills. The goal of these sessions is to be college preparation for the team as students and players. In college basketball, you will never play more than one game in a day, but you may have two-a-day practices. Our plan is to prepare players for being a college student-athlete.

DistinXion will play in all available college exposure tournaments.  The goal will be to be within driving distance of all the college exposure tournaments.

Tournaments we will play in during 2017 open recruiting periods:

April 21-23

April 28-30

July 12-16

July 19-23
